- What trends are you loving this season?
Velvet! I love the way light falls on the fabric, the softness and the luxe feel of it. I definitely have my eyes set on a pair of velvet booties for this season. - What’s your favourite way to to keep up to date with the latest trends?
It’s hard not to be updated with trends when you’re on social media all the time. You first see it on Instagram, then it’s on Pinterest and then WhoWhatWear has a feature about it, etc. Even when I’m not looking for them, chances are high that I will hear about them. It’s so widespread online. - What do you love about autumn and winter?
Autumn is so atmospheric. I love the golden mornings and the misty rains. And of course, playing up with layers of clothing! - What is your top fashion/style tip?
Formulate a uniform or silhouette that works well for your body type. Once you’ve worked out what that is, you’ll save a lot of time deciding on what pieces to purchase and/or what to wear every day.

Wide Leg pants are calling to me this season. Not only are the incredibly chic, they are really comfortable to wear. I’m a big believer that style can be comfortable too! - What is your top fashion/style tip?
Work out your Style Personality. Pick three words that describe your style (like colourful, classic and feminine) and stick to them when you shop. It will give your whole wardrobe much more synergy and you won’t end up with those pieces that you bought on a whim and that “just don’t suit me”. - What do you love about Farmers?
There is just so much to choose from at Farmers, something for every shape, size, budget and lifestyle. I can often take styling clients into Farmers and find everything we need from the one store! Having so many great brands to choose from, means there is always something you are going to love.

I am really loving the boho, cold shoulder style. I’m also really into the earthy tones at the moment and I just think the mixture of the two is a match made in heaven. - Who do you look to for fashion inspiration?
Pia Muehlenbeck! She is my current go-to gal and she can basically do no wrong in my eyes - What is your biggest fashion faux pas?
Wearing ill fitting clothing and wearing things that have made me feel uncomfortable. If you are constantly tugging at your jeans or checking to see if your top is sitting in the right position- It’s a sign your wearing something that is not right for you! - What is your top fashion/style tip?
Be comfortable in what you are wearing! If you are wearing something you love and are comfortable- you’ll ooze confidence. Don’t wear something just because it’s cool in that moment.

Layering different textures and fabrics, 90’s looking coats – hello leopard print! and also mixing things up, wearing vintage jewelry with sport shoes and fine silks with ripped jeans. It’s all about making your own rules this season! - What’s your favourite way to to keep up to date with the latest trends?
We love scrolling through whowhatwear.com. We love that they always feature street style from fashion weeks and its fun checking out what everyone is wearing overseas. Other than that Instagram is our favourite social platform to be inspired for upcoming trends. - Save or splurge and why?
SPLURGE! And here’s the reason why… The amount of money you spend re-buying an item (example those black pair of jeans that you rebuy once a year because they are getting ‘old’), we would rather invest that into one expensive pair that you can have for 5-6 years. This is how we have always worked. Tip: You need to be wise! Recognize what is worth splurging on and invest in a good cut and fabric, not a gimmick.

Can’t get enough of the cropped pants this season, just bought four different pairs last week! (Have a slight pants problem). - Who do you look to for fashion inspiration?
David Beckham – the dude is the world’s styliest dad. - What do you love about autumn and winter?
Layering. The cooler months allow you to be more creative & layer key pieces like denim jackets, trenches and coats. - What is your biggest fashion faux pas?
Wore a bum bag and got laughed at. It will make a comeback. Honest. - What is your top fashion/style tip?
Make mistakes, that’s often where you’ll find your unique style.

- Who do you look to for fashion inspiration?
Being a young father of three kiddies I’m all about that balanced cool casual, comfy style. Someone who I think pulls this off and just happens to be a dad is David Beckham. He wears your classic and basic items and materials (denim, leather, canvas, cotton), layers lots and makes it look cool and effortless. He also knows how to switch it up and look dapper as well. - What do you love about autumn and winter?
Jackets! I’m a jacket collector or Sarah would say “HOARDER” (my jackets fill up the whole spare room wardrobe). I have loads of styles: denim, leather, bombers, blazers and during Autumn/ Winter I’ll base what I wear around the jacket that I want to rock for that day. - What do you love about Farmers?
Farmers is your one stop shop for everything. When you have a busy family and three kiddies you don’t want to drag them around to lots of different shops, so it’s great that we can shop for both Sarah and I, then we can whip to the kiddies section. They also have a great home and living selection (you’ll always find us looking for new kitchenware and dining products for our food styling). I know if I can’t find Sarah she’ll always be in the bright glitzy beauty section (this is the point that the kids and I exit for lunch because we know she’ll be there for ages).
